Many of us are familiar with Divinity as a masculine force. In Christianity, for instance, we are acquainted with God in masculine terms: Father & Son.
The Divine Feminine path, however, is different. It follows intuition, rather than book learning and values creativity over hierarchy. It encourages us to lean into our emotions and to discover what can be learned through this exploration. It is a nurturing, creative, expansive approach to spirituality, rather than one that demands strict adherence to doctrine. It invites us into receptivity and softness, rather than rigorous aesceticism.
At the same time, the Divine Feminine is also an empowered, sovereign path. There is no right or wrong way to express feminine spirituality. Mothers, warriors, nuns, artists, priestesses, teachers, leaders, healers, goddesses- all authentic and archetypes of the Divine Feminine.
Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene, Quan Yin, Persephone, Joan of Arc, Rhiannon, Brigid, Artemis, Arianrhod, and so many other figures from spiritual and mythological traditions throughout world history demonstrate vastly different expressions of the Divine Feminine. Each of these expressions as beautiful as the next, and unique unto itself.
We each (yes, even men!) have our own innate expression of the Divine Feminine to bring into this world. Let’s discover it together, and watch it unfold.
